Our Blueberries’ Anti-Cancer Effects

Our organic blueberries, among other wild blueberries, have many anti-cancer properties. Our berries are antioxidant, anthocyanin rich, cancer fighting food.

Antioxidants help your body by keeping the immune system from “rusting” which helps prevent diseases such as cancer. Wild blueberries were recently ranked #1 in Antioxidant content, among all fruits and vegetables, by the USDA.

Our blueberries are grown organically, and hand-harvested, so the maximum of Antioxidants are available.

Macular Degeneration

Blueberries can prevent and help to slow the development of macular degeneration, which is (for the majority of those who get it) an age related disease affecting the central field of vision.

The macula is an area in the centre of the retina that contains specialised cells responsible for seeing colour and fine detail.

Read the rest of this article for more information on how our blueberries are helpful in preventing Macular Degeneration.

Our New Site Is Under Construction

If you want to order or  PYO (pick your own) our delicious berries, email lloyd.griscom@gmail.com or call 207-639-5550.

I’m the admin of this site, so I’ll be working on it.
